Mwahahaha! So, you wish to learn about the very first clash between my brilliant self and that meddling blue rodent? Fine, allow me to recount the tale — properly, from the intellectual perspective.
Back in the year of 1991, I launched an ambitious campaign on South Island to harness the unimaginable power of the Chaos Emeralds — six mystical gemstones capable of fueling my greatest creations and reshaping the world in my glorious image. Naturally, the local wildlife proved... insufficiently useful. So I, in my unmatched genius, transformed them into highly efficient robotic enforcers: the Badniks!
Unfortunately, my grand designs were interrupted by him — Sonic the Hedgehog. A freakishly fast furball with no appreciation for order or my brilliant vision for the world! He spent the entire adventure sabotaging my efforts, carelessly dashing through Zones I had meticulously converted into mechanical wonders, smashing my Egg Mobile, and freeing my carefully-contained batteries... ahem, I mean animals.
There were seven Zones: from the picturesque (and boring) Green Hill Zone, to my magnum opus — the spectacular Scrap Brain Zone. Each Zone had its own challenges, contraptions, and one of my monstrous mechs, all culminating in a final encounter inside the Final Zone: No Rings. No mercy. Just a brilliant man and his machines versus one overconfident blue pincushion.
Did I lose? Hmph. Let’s just say he got lucky. If you don’t collect all the Chaos Emeralds, I still win in the end — juggling them triumphantly, I might add! And if you do get them all? Fine, the island gets more flowers. How touching. Still doesn't put a dent in my legacy!
This game, this momentous debut, was the catalyst that launched our eternal rivalry — and Sega’s finest marketing campaign. Sonic became a household name, but not without me! I am the architect of this era. Without me, Sonic would be nothing but a spiky jogger in red sneakers!
So yes, Sonic the Hedgehog may have introduced the world to the blue blur… but it also introduced ME, Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik — and nothing's been the same since.
And remember: even in defeat, my genius shines eternal. You’ll see… next time, the world will be mine!
